This 10 acre property is 6 miles SW of Rochester, Minnesota on all paved roads. Our new carriage house has heat, air!

Getting married under a tree, especially a 100+ year old tree, represents intertwining your branches and establishing your roots as a new family.
Our heated & air conditioned Carriage House doubles as a wedding and reception location. Have it for one or both. If you book your wedding with us, it's yours to use how you'd like!
If your looking for a more intimate setting, the small gardens near the carriage house offer calming sounds of the fountain. We have several gazebos and arches you can choose from to decorate your space.
This setting is for a smaller wedding as it comfortably holds approximately 40 seated guests. Located on the east side of the house, it is often cool and shady later in the day.
Our pergola patio is a multipurpose space available for the wedding or lounging on our outdoor furniture. Our light strands & rented heat towers provide extra comfort into the night.
The Carriage House seamlessly integrates with our beautiful gardens, peaceful country setting, and immense outdoor spaces. We have a large pergola patio space, garden paths, and expansive lawns that make this an outdoor paradise.
The combination of modern and historic makes for a timeless space for entertaining. Our poured concrete floors and industrial pipe railing blend nicely with dark wood beams, leather Edison bulb chandeliers, and antiqued exposed brick pillars.

Having a small, intimate wedding? This patio makes for a gorgeous dinner location.
Want to start the party outdoors? Have your special dances on the patio for an extra special touch before moving into the Carriage House for your reception.
Use the patio for overflow lounge space for your guests to visit while listening to the music with our outdoor speakers.
Use our spaces however you need. We have outdoor seating options for overflow from the carriage house.
The spaces in and around the carriage house are all wheelchair accessible.
Come back the next day and have a nice brunch with your preferred guests while you open your gifts from your wedding!
We have an open catering policy as long as they are licensed! They are welcome to use our food prep area. You can also go the food truck route and order pizza for a late-night snack!
Hire your favorite licensed bar service to provide drinks all the way up until 11:00 pm!
Your day, your timeline! The day is yours to schedule as you please. No other events will be scheduled on your big day!
Rest easy knowing you won't be managing the venue details alone on the big day. You will be provided a site coordinator for the day of your event.

We have plenty of parking both in the grass and gravel. Another option is to rent the Rochester trolly and shuttle guests to their hotel at the end of the night! Just remember to make arrangements for your vehicle ahead of time.

150 in the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
100 comfortably in the Winter months.
Staying around 150 guests is very comfortable for our space.

When Available
If you don't want to leave all the big important stuff for the day-of, come and set up the day before. You will get 4 hours of setup time before your 2 hours of rehearsal time. 6 hours total to schedule between 10am-8pm.
If you don't want to spend your wedding night cleaning up all your decorations, come back the next day for teardown. You will have 4 hours to clear all decorations and pick up vehicles. Available between 11am-4pm.
Book a 4 hour gift-opening party and come back with your favorite people the day after your wedding to open gifts and relax in the gardens. Schedule between 11am-4pm.
When the weather gets crisp and chilly, continue to enjoy the evening with patio heaters warming up the space.
Decide what time you'd like your campfire started and we'll do the rest. From chopping the firewood to lighting, feeding, and putting it out, you and your guests won't have to do a thing.
You may request to book your wedding over a holiday weekend, such as labor day or memorial day for example. For a holiday weekend we charge an additional $1,500.

Indoor seated receptions can fit 150 people. In the winter months, we limit indoor capacity to 100.
Ceremony Only (outdoors) up to 300. We provide 150 chairs, additional chairs must be rented from a rental company.
Open House Style -
Due to our expansive gardens and outdoor spaces, we are capable of hosting larger open house style events during the warm weather months. (For example: food trucks vs sit-down catered meals)
While we are an events center, we are also a garden center. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. We have a playground and we encourage our clients to have planned activities for kids to do with an adult assisting.
Food products are encouraged to come from a licensed and insured caterer or kitchen to eliminate the Client’s liability of food borne illnesses. Prepackaged food, restaurant food, and grocery store food is included in catered items. If hiring a caterer, they are required to have a valid Certificate of Insurance and Catering License on file with us.
Nope! We have an open catering policy. You select your favorite licensed caterer/kitchen/bar service that fits your budget. OR change it up and hire food trucks! Ask us who we recommend as we've had many great vendors provide amazing service at our venue.
Certainly! We have small event pricing. This is great for clubs that meet here regularly, as well as one-time small events.
The Carriage House is both heated and cooled. Ample parking is available Spring-Fall. Winter parking may be limited due to snowfall. Shuttles to transport your guests are welcomed and encouraged.
